Programs

NCTTCA implements its mandate through four technical programmes that coordinate regional action on transport policy, trade facilitation, infrastructure development, and private-sector investment. Together, these programmes support efficient corridor operations, harmonised policies, improved connectivity, increased investment, and sustainable socioeconomic development across the Northern Corridor Member States.

Transport Policy and Planning Programme (TPP)

The Transport Policy and Planning Programme provides the technical framework for harmonising transport policies, regulations, standards and planning approaches across the Northern Corridor Member States. It supports coordinated regional transport planning, policy development, data management and integration of cross-cutting issues into corridor policy and planning.

Customs and Trade Facilitation Programme (CTF)

The Customs and Trade Facilitation Programme is responsible for supporting seamless, efficient and predictable movement of goods across the Northern Corridor by addressing customs, procedural and other trade-related barriers.

Infrastructure Development and Management Programme — IDM

The Infrastructure Development and Management Programme coordinates and promotes the development, improvement, integration, management and sustainable maintenance of transport and logistics infrastructure along the Northern Corridor.

Private Sector Investment Promotion Programme (PSIP)

The Private Sector Investment Promotion Programme provides the institutional interface for mobilising private-sector participation, investment and expertise in the development of the Northern Corridor as an economic and development corridor.
